IE6 When I click on a link that opens a new page the page comes up blank and the globe in the upper right hand corner just keeps spinning forever. The same thing happens when I try to open a link in my email. Any ideas?

    Start > run > regsvr32 urlmon.dll > OK
You'll get a prompt that the dll was registered
Reapeat these steps for the following.
    regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
    regsvr32 Shell32.dll
    regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
    regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
    regsvr32 Mshtml.dll

If that doesn't help, download and run an updated version of Spybot S&D or Adaware (both available at http://www.majorgeeks.com/showfiles.php?cat=31) if you haven't tried that altready.

If you're using Win98 download and run: http://download.microsoft.com/download/msninvestor/Patch/1.0/WIN98/EN-US/mcrepair.EXE

    Regards,

    Pieter

    Chris19581,

It's a direct download link. If need be, create a Shortcut on your desktop and copy the path of the link in there.

I'll give you the link once more: h*ttp://download.microsoft.com/download/msninvestor/Patch/1.0/WIN98/EN-US/mcrepair.EXE
Remove the asterisk to make it valid again.

    Regards,

    Pieter
