[Resolved] Change Default Browser Help!

Hi there,

I have just renistalled Netscape Communicator. I need to make Iexplorer the default browser. I have gone into the tools and then to internet options, then to programs and ticked the Internet explorer should check to see if its the default browser....But nothing has happened yet to make I explorer the default browser or even a requestor to ask if i want to make it the default browser...Can someone help out?

That should work. Did you restart IE? Close down the Internet and uncheck that. REcheck it. Restart IE. You should get the box. If not , repair IE.
Go to control Panel>Add REmove Programs and scrol to the Ie entry. Click remove. A box with three choices will appear. Choose Repair.

IF that doesn't work, post back.
