As Audrey had to...you will have to supply as much info on OS, MOBO, is vid card on board or seperate card etc, you have seen the instructions audrey was given, follow same and post your results :)

You need the make and model of your video card first. You might try Belarc advisor or SiSoft Sandra to determine this if you can't figure it out or open the case and read the vidoe chipset on the card itself. You may also need the driver for your monitor type

Was it the one that had Windows 9x on it?
Is that like a codename for it??!?
Oh well, im downloading the new one now.
    What is it?
    A driver?

win 9x just means suitable for all o/systems with a 9 eg 95,98,98se

the second link is a driver, i would download it to a new folder called vid driver or something like that so you know where to direct to for the driver update process

Hi, Regarding the friend's video card, or onboard,SiS AGP ---- we have to know if it is a name brand computer like Gateway, Compaq, etc- they sometimes modify drivers for those proprietary computers. Just reply back, soon as you get the information, his motherboard make and model would be a great help. The SiS chips contain more than video...they are like a combination of devices all in one....much to complicated to just throw any old driver at it I think. See if you can get the mobo ID- glad to assist if he needs help.
