The JPEG files I attach to an email seem to always go as part of the email message, i.e. they (the photo's, etc) are seen inside the message. I would like to send them as files so the recipients can use the file. Interestingly enough all other types of files I send in the same way, that is by attaching them to the email, seem to go (and arrive) as files.

if all else fails, just zip up the jpegs before you attach them.

    stevesoh,

    Welcome to TSG.

With Netscape Messenger all .gif and .jpg images will show up in the body of the email even if you attached it.

If you don't want to see them in the "body" or "Inline" then open Messenger and go up to view and then uncheck "view attachments inline".
