{RESOLVED}Continues bios beep

Removed one of 4 memory modules, simms 72 pin to attempt to ID. It is compaq,?MB, reinstalled and now computer won't boot and bios is emitting long beeps. Removed cleaned memory contacts, same.
Pulled video card, cleaned contacts, same.
Attempt to ID mobo, found p/n MBPCI024ABWN, google says INTEL, no info on INTEL site.
Attemted ID at mobo.org no matches.
Gateway 2000
Socket 8 Intel pentium pro SL247

have you tried just two of the memory chips
make sure all cables are fitted right you may have bumped something

it sounds like memory problem though

Must have screwed up 1 pin in memory socket, shorted to another pin, got it straightened out.:eek:
