When I create a footer in Excel 2000 the date format is always 12-03-2003. I can change the date format in cells with excel but not in the footer. I would like to be Dec-02-2003. I also change my setting under control panel/regional settings, this still doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know how to do this.
just an FYI: The computer will take the date format from your computer locale, so if your dates are in american format (mm/dd/yyyy) then you will need to change the computer locale to English UK (easiest on the language and the date is dd/mm/yyyy)
xl guru, I can not get this to work. I have no exsperience in VB. Could I be missing something. I go and look at the right footer when I am done and saved and I still see no difference. Do you think you could email me a small sample to view. my email address is tscaife@telus.net.
I have not received any email with a sample. Did you send it to tscaife@telus.net. Maybe I should check my profile. It might have an old email address.
I did not receive this. Do you think you could send it one more time.
thanx
