Happy New Year gang;
I am back with which will probally be something simple for you guys.
When I log onto my computer it will start up fine but; when I try to open any programs including going online (I am using another computer right now) I get the following error message: C:\windows\system\oleaut 32.dll. not found
this error message will not allow me to open any of my programs.

Some program you downloaded or loaded from CD probably overwrote this file and now you need to replace it. Before you do that do a search on your system for oleaut32.dll if found in the windows\system folder you will need to extract a new copy from your windows CD using SFC run from the command line. If the file is missing from the windows\system folder then just copy it to that folder. Another source for the dll is
http://www.drd.dyndns.org/index2.html just click dll in the top bar and input oleaut32.dll in the search and download the one for your version of windows.
Hope that get you through. Keep us posted.
