[Resolved] Gif and Jpg

I am having troubles saving gif and jpg files... Sometimes they save and sometimes they dont save in the right format and I cant open them...most times if I create them in paintshop pro4 they will save properly but most times when i save either format from the net they wont save properly... can I fix this?

2 questions: are you using IE6 ? On one of the images you can't open when you right click on it and go to properties what is the MS-DOS name of the JPG.

Add .jpg or .gif to the file name.
You will in some image programs get a box saying not the right format when you try to open it.
But if it opens ok then make a copy of it and save it again to clean out the junk code.

Thanx guys it works now..all it was it needed name changed to gif
when i d/loaded it I changed name and forgot to put .gif extension.
