You have quite a bit of advertising/spyware there.

Install, UPDATE, and run Spybot following directions below. Reboot after running and post another Scanlog.

To update it, best to click Settings, then Settings again and put a check in "display beta updates" under the Web Update section.

    http://tomcoyote.org/SPYBOT/index1.html

You may also want to install and run Ad-Aware as well:

Ad-Aware Home Page and Ad-Aware 6: Reference Guide by Winchester73

Also, as a part of this cleaning process be sure to go to Internet Options > Security and remove these links from the "trusted" zone or check and "fix" them with HijackThis:

Here is my hijack this log.I ran spybot and removed everything it would let me remove.
When windows started up it said I had an invalid Backweb error.
I Keep taking Search squire out of trusted zone and it keeps coming back on hijack this but doesn't show in internet options trusted zones. I also can't get this toolbar Power search out of my add/remove programs.
    Thanks

Ok, put checks in the following HijackThis Scanlog boxes, close all browser windows and click "fix checked":

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {80672997-D58C-4190-9843-C6C61AF8FE97} - C:\WINDOWS\rundll16.dll (file missing)

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {857190E5-AFD9-436D-8054-79A839CE91FA} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\aclewdit.dll

    O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {8A96CD02-5BAD-4CAE-A72C-A4864C40D663} - (no file)

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [UpdateStats] C:\Program Files\Media\Media\UpdateStats.exe

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Rundll16] C:\WINDOWS\rundll16.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [FLSYCI] C:\WINDOWS\FLSYCI.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SearchSquire33] C:\WINDOWS\System32\SearchUpdate33.exe

    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Ahst] C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\iebs.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [DDCM] "C:\Program Files\WildTangent\DDC\DDCManager\DDCMan.exe" -Background
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [DDCActiveMenu] "C:\Program Files\WildTangent\DDC\ActiveMenu\DDCActiveMenu.exe" -boot

After rebooting you should also search for and delete:

    C:\WINDOWS\System32\aclewdit.dll
    C:\Program Files\Media\Media\UpdateStats.exe
C:\WINDOWS\rundll16.exe >> do NOT confuse this with rundll32.exe or rundll.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\FLSYCI.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\SearchUpdate33.exe
    C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\iebs.exe
    C:\Program Files\WildTangent

    >> There are two ways to address the "backweb" problem which is a quasi legitimate file used for checking for updates. You can look for the entry that was removed in the Spybot "Recovery" section (under the Spybot S&D) tab, or you can use HijackThis to completely remove all startups that use it. No harm in doing this:

    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [LDM] \Program\BackWeb-8876480.exe

    O4 - Global Startup: hp center.lnk = C:\Program Files\hp center\137903\Program\BackWeb-137903.exe

    O4 - Global Startup: Logitech Desktop Messenger.lnk = C:\Program Files\Logitech\Desktop Messenger\8876480\Program\LDMConf.exe

Post another HijackThis Scanlog when ready.

Also did you remove these from your Internet Options "trusted" zone? If so, you need to do it again:

    O15 - Trusted Zone: http://ad.searchsquire.com
    O15 - Trusted Zone: http://search.searchsquire.com
    O15 - Trusted Zone: http://update.searchsquire.com
    O15 - Trusted Zone: http://www.searchsquire.com

Ok, that looks good and you're certainly welcome.

For what it's worth you could probably live with out this, it's just an update scheduler for Sun's Java. Personally, I think the fewer things like this that are running the better:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SunJavaUpdateSched] C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_01\bin\jusched.exe

I will mark this as "resolved" unless you tell me different.

For absolute performance optimizing you can also review other startups against the information supplied in this link. If you decide you don't want them running, just run msconfig and uncheck them under the startup tab. You can easily re-enable them that way if you think it is more convenient.
