I started using Kerio and it passed every test. There is one thing I wonder about.

The only thing I can find strange about it is when you first start using it a little window will pop up when you start accessing your programs on the net. You click accept and put a check in a box that creates a filter rule. There is one that pops up about sending something to addx10 or something to that effect. If you deny this it slows my cable connection down to 96Kbs where I usually run at 1500 to 1900 Kbs. I turned the firewall off and it was ok.

Uninstalled and installed again and accepted the addX10 outgoing and everthing works fine. Kind of suspicious or am I being overly paranoid?

After much looking and digging I finally figured what the problem with my Kerio was.

I finally remembered putting this entry (127.0.0.1 ads.x10.com) in my Hosts file to stop a X10 camera popup from bugging me to death. What it did by me denying it on Kerio I don't know. When I deleted it from the host file and uninstalled Kerio and re-installed the x10 didn't come up.
