I don't use MSM but was asked by somebody to look at something there and I haven't used it since going to broadband and upgrading to IE6. Here is what I get when I try to access it:

I followed the prompt and it said everything was alright.

Hi Deke

I don't use messenger myself, but my daughter does and she gets this message alot - it means msn is busy and you just need to try again later

Good day all
... I too used to get that message
I realized that my Norton Internet Security and AdsGone (popup stopper) software were not allowing it (tested by disabling one by one). Reconfiguring these two allowed my access to Net service.

cheers

MD-I disabled my firewall and it would let me sign in.

Thanks.

Hi Deke

glad you got it solved - I got my daughter to read your message again and she says it is definately the same one she gets - and all she does is try again a few minutes later and it works - but we have zonealarm firewall so maybe that's the difference

SW-I'm using Kerio. Even though I don't use it I would like to figure out how to configure Kerio so I could if I wanted to. Will keep looking.

I reconfigured where Kerio would notifiy me of outgoing contact and let me permit\deny and establish a rule.

Working great now.
