I have just installed Nero 5 on new Dell laptop. The CDRW/DVD drive is a MATSHITA CDRW/DVD UJDA740. When I go to 'Choose Recorder' only the virtual image recorder is shown.
When the laptop arrived it had EasyCD Roxio on it. This has been removed properly.
    Thanks for any help.

I had similar problems with Nero and NT.
There are a few updates/patches on the Nero web site that you might want to apply.
After a while, the patches stopped working and I installed easy cd creator ver. 5
    And it works great

I downloaded the latest update from Nero, and it sorted the problem, thanks Cyberella.

Amazing though, I only bought the software two weeks ago!!

The software you bought from a shop 2 weeks ago was probably made 8 or 9 months ago and sat on the shop shelf
