I had sound this morning except when I tried to play music in my RioPort Audis Manager it would put he volume off and wouldn't play. When I moved the sound back up it would play Midi Sounds and wave files, and I would have sound, now I have no sound at all. Can anyone help me please?

I hate sound issues, but if you have Win98, here's a quick fix that might set things back whatever was working right. Go to start>shutdown>restart in MS-DOS mode. At the c:\windows\> prompt enter:

    scanreg /restore

select a started registry dated prior to the problems from one of the 4 you see. Restoring a previous registry will nullify any settings or registry changes subsequent to the date. Anything installed after the date would have to be reinstalled.

If you have WinME you might want to consider the "system restore" feature.
