Here is my problem--- When I click or open a second window it will not display anything. The window will appear but be empty with nothing in the address bar either. I cannot get certain second windows to show anything ex. The contol panel/ admin/ services. The services window will be blank. I have scanned with Norton AV, Spyboy, Adware, and HouseCall and they find nothing. I recently installed a popup blocker but have uninstalled it and cleaned the registry using Ace Utilities. Also when i click on links that open a second window they will be blank as well.

    Try this:

    1. Quit all programs that are running.

    2. Click Start, and then click Run.

    3. Type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK.

    4. When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, click OK.

If this does not resolve the problem, repeat steps 2 through 4 for each of the following files (in step 3, replace Urlmon.dll with each of the file names below):

    Shdocvw.dll
    Msjava.dll
    Actxprxy.dll
    Oleaut32.dll
    Mshtml.dll
    Browseui.dll
Shell32.dll (Windows XP and Windows 2000 only)

It's too bad you had to go that route but at least everything is fine now.

After back tracking through a popup blocker it is apparent that it was the result of this problem. It and XP pro did not agree with each other. I have forgotten the name but will try to remeber and post it back here. Now onto reloadinf software and backups.
