I'm running Outlook (came with Office XP) under Windows 2000
and today when I trried to open an email message it would
not open. I then closed Outlook and now when I try to open it
I cannot. I got a message telling me there was something wrong
and I should open it in "safe mode", when I tried this it took
so long I stopped it using Task manager. I also tried opening
it bypassing safe mode but that doesn't work either.
Can anyone help please?

Thanks for your suggestion. I managed to fix it by downloading a file called scanpst.exe. I ran this, Outlook opened ok and is now working fine. Long may it continue to do do.
Thanks ((*_*))
