Hey I've got a problem. My computer had a virus and the whole hard drive was rebooted and installed with the original programs that came stock on it. After that I reinstalled Kazaa and now it does not work. The wierd thing is, that no p2p program connects to the service leading me to believe that something might be wrong with my connection. If you have had this problem or if you know how to fix it please email me at [email protected] or post a message ASAP! Thanks!

Hey thanks for replying. Yes the virus was removed because the whole hard drive was erased and reinstalled. I'm using Windows XP. There's no firewall installed on my computer so I'm still not sure why its not working. The thing is before the hard drive was erased it used to work on my computer. When it was erased all of the original software was reinstalled on the computer so it should work, but It doesn't connect to the gnutella network. AOL works and so does the internet browser but all gnutella p2p programs do not work. If you have any input please email me at [email protected] or post a reply! Thanks!

Hey eddie,

Thanks so much, it works great now! I didn't realize that Windows XP already came with a firewall. Thank you very much, now I can go about downloading the stuff I want!

Thanks again,

Brian

Glad to hear it.

Yep, XP is a bit sneaky that way. Someone at work has it, but never knew either, and kept pulling the connection from the Web every time she saw this Inbound message :)
