[Resolved] paint {mfc42.dll error}

    receive the following message when trying to open paint anyone help thanks in advance.

    paint has caused an error in mfc42dll

    what does it mean and any solutions!

    thanks angel soeey bout the double post(new at this)went to the page when it says hit registery key does it just mean delete the paint folder?

    Yep, you want to delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Applets\Paint

    Oh, and no prob with the duplicate post - just wanted to let you know. Many do it when they're new.
