When my son goes into the internet, he goes to videogames.com; then he tries to go into the Playstation games, but this box pops up that says,

"This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.

If the problem persists, contact the program vendor."

In the upper left hand corner of the box is Ddhelp.

Is this happening due to something that may have happen with my computer?

Usually caused by old video drivers, update your video drivers and see if the error goes away.

I went to my windows98 cd and found the error message. It told me to try downloading DirectX from the Microsoft website. I did that and it worked.

    Thank you.

    Hi,
I've been reading old posts to try and find my answers but I'm still not getting resolution. I'm getting this error message in the details:
IEXPLORE caused an invlaid page fault in module KERNAL32.DLL at 0157:bff88a37.
    Register.....

I'm really technically challenged, so go slow.

Also, I should mention that I ran AdAware and cleaned away spyware but it didn't change anything.
