When I attempt to launch an IE application window from the WinME taskbar, e.g., www.google.com, an IE window opens with the following text in the window:
    "[DEFAULT] BASEURL=http://www.google.com/ [InternetShortcut] URL=http://www.google.com/ Modified=400C9B926F94C1013E"

This used to work correctly (the www.google.com page would open), and I don't know what has changed.

    Thanks for any help.

That is definitely not working. Do one thing please? GO to favorites and try to launch one. They are both Internet Shortcuts. If a fav will work, then we should recreate the QL Toolbar. If it won't, then you have to repair a file association. Post back.

Mosaic1, the problem has been fixed.

The favorites did not work either, so I figured out how to fix the file association, as you suggested.

    Thanks for your help.
