    Appreciate some assistance.

Lately, every time I send or forward an e-mail that contains any kind of graphic, what appears in the Sent box is a message with no graphics, but instead the outline of some shape of a box with a small white area containing a red X in it. No graphics appear. The recipient gets the same thing.

Running W98Se, IE and OE 6.0. Have not installed any new programs.

Any ideas of what to do to correct this so that messages retain their graphics?

    Thank you for the reply.

The person at the other end does not get the graphic.

    However, found the solution:

    In OE, click Tools>Options.
    Click the Send Tab.
Under the Mail Sending Format header, ensure HTML Button is highlighted as mail sending format.
Next, click on the HTML Settings Button, and ensure SEND PICTURE WITH MAIL has a checkmark.

    The last setting was unchecked!!

Glad you got it fixed, was trying to find out exactly what was happening before having you make a lot of changes.
    Have a great day.
