Is there a way to reinstall win95 to a computer w/o the disk? My son gave his baby sister his old Aptiva pentium but the system is crashed. He lost the disk. The only disk he can find is the reboot cd for his emachine ME. Where can I get a disk w/o spending too much money? (free is better)

Hello, I have an old Aptiva 2137,E-24 & if you want to re-load the old Operating System (Win95B) you will need the "Product Recovery" The Maroon CD . Try this site for info on getting a "Product Recvery CD" if possible http://members.aol.com/don5408/aptiva.html
What model is your Aptiva? Do you have any documentation from the PC. You could make a "Boot Disk" from the site I gave you, look here if you want to just do a Win98 upgrade. Here is a link,,http://home.ptd.net/~don5408/win98/install/upgrade.html
E-mail me if I can be of any further help, okay :)
