I am trying to completely remove windows ME from a 700 mhz
20 GB system so as to get a clean disk to install a different os.
When i run the boot disk in A drive and get to A:format C:/S/V
it starts to format, counts off to 98 percent and then stops and tell me there is insufficient memory. Has anyone ever dealt with this problem? HELP

Just use format C: Winme doesn't recognize the /s switch.
If your installing a different os you don't want winme system files anyways.
