I'm using Windows 95 and, currently, when it's loading I get a message on the screen "Unable to locate system class: java/lang/Object"
Any ideas how to fix this and/or reload if necessary?

It looks as if one of the Java libraries is missing.

Try reinstalling Internet Explorer. The Java libraries should then be installed with it.

In order to reinstall Internet Explorer, do I need to "uninstall" the current version first?
Sorry, don't mean to sound stupid, but I don't want to delete something and cause more damage!

If I remember correctly you should uninstall en then reinstall IE 3.

When using version 4 and up you can go to the control panel|Add/Remove software and then Internet Explorer. You should have then the possibility to reinstall all components.
