Hello:

I just reformatted my Dell 450 and seem to be able to install everything; but, I can't seem to set the video resolution (or Desktop Area) higher than 640 x 480 with 16 colors. I am running Windows98 and have a 17 inch Toshiba 710V monitor. I loaded the driver for the monitor and did everything I know thru Windows help; but, nothing works. It worked fine before I reloaded Windows. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

You need to reload your video card drivers, do you have them, do you know what type of video card you have

Hello:

Thank you for the advise. I was messing with the wrong driver for 4 plus hours. Finally this morning after a fresh start I got it going. Thanks for the hint.
