today when i tried to load my windows Me
it just wouldn't load. I tried starting in safe mode :still nothing
so i tried step by step the last thing to load (or not) as the case may be was Mmouse.vxd then the system just sat there doing nothing again.

does anyone know why this may be?
and can you suggest a way in which i may remedy this one?

i think it has to do with the fact that i have dual boot Xp/Me
im toying with the idea of reformatting and resizeing the drive
and just installing Xp on it as i have never had a problem with
that since i installed it all my probs have been with Me side.
but i still need the help asked for in first post right now to back up info i have on Me side

Hey that's great. You're the first one I've seen to go that route to get to system restore, so I'm glad to hear it went as MS said it would. :)
