I get an error message whenever I start up:
    "VMM12 + 00001877 Error: OE: 0028:C0280A77"
with no success I've rebooted, Alt-Ctrl-Delete. My scan disk automatically fixes any errors found why not this?
How do I fix this? I run a 1.3Ghz Athlon Windows ME.

Thanks in advance for your assistance,
    u039307:confused:

    Welcome to TSG!
Could find very little on the VMM (Virtual Memory Manager) VMM12
error. Two people have experienced this and requested answers in different newsgroups. The questions have went unanswered there. I found one reference that Basically says VMM6 and VMM12
are errors due to damage in the registry and the suggest fix is to run scanregw.exe /fix from the run line. Give this a try and let us know if it works to correct the error.
