I have Windows XP Home Edition with Outlook Express as my e-mail program. I do not print most e-mails but needed to print one today and was surprised to get the following error codes.

When trying to "Print" an e-mail, by clicking the "Printer Icon" or by the drop down menu under "File", I get the same 3 error messages.

The first one that pops up is:

    Internet Explorer Script Error

    Line: 297

    Char: 26

    Error: Expected 'j'

    Code: 0

    URL: res://C:\Windows\System32\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

    Yes No

    2nd Error Code:

    Same as above except,

    Line: 1

    Char: 1

    Error: Object Expected

    Code: 0

    URL: (same)

    Do you ....

    3rd Error Code:

Same as above (2nd Error Code)

    Any advice or solutions?

I've searched the MS-KB and found something to do with uninstalling "Surfairy" but it seemed to be associated with an IE printing problem, not an OE printing problem, even though the error codes I am getting are IE based.

    Thanks in advance.

I wish I could tell you what I did to fix this problem, but OE is now printing fine. I have no clue what caused the problem and no clue what fixed it. I guess it's just MicroSuck being MicroSuck.
