restart computer automatically when power resumes.

    hi every one.

    i work in an bop.i have a system in the office in which the files keep sharing and every one access that system.the problem comes when the power shuts and resumes i should go and restart it again.so, how can fix the computer to restart automatically when the power comes back.like server.
    the sys comfig is (XP/sp.3,1 gb ram,160 gb hdd.and mainly mother board is of core 2 duo 2.00 and auss board.)

    Check your bios settings. You should have an option as to what happens after a pw failure.

    Have you read your manual as to bios settings?

    If the pw failures are of short duration, why not get a UPS to keep the system running?

    Thx for reply. we have a ups its of 1 hr back up.wht happens is power get off's for some hr's also.
    my mother board is of-945 GC chipset, ASUS make, support 800/1066 MHz FSB support new generation 45nm CPU.
    pls help me out of this.

    You have not answered; have you read your manual in regard to settings for a power OFF and what happens?
