A friend of mine bought a new laptop Acer 4750G intel core i3 with 2gb of ram and 1gb of video card, 64 bit. The said unit has no OS installed when he bought it thus, he ask me to install windows 7 ultimate. The installation of win 7 was successful together with the third party softwares. I activated the OS by executing the "[deleted by mod]" and the computer will restart automatically.

My question is why the computer restart repeatedly after activating the OS. i did the same procedure a lot of times and it gives me the same result. I firmly believe that there's no problem with my installation disc (32/64 bit) as i was using it in a 32 bit computer for more than a year now.

thank you for any assistance that you can give
