restarting problom with xp

    hey i have restarting problom .
    i have p4 prossesor and asus mainbourd its all started when i added on ddr memory (from 512 to 1024) at first the memory didnt fit so i changed him to the same company that the original is from!! and from then till today once a day the computer is restarting my power suplly is 400 w ...what can it be ??
    (hard ware?? sp2??or the suplly power??)
    plz help me

    have you tried taking out the ram and seeing how it goes? If no problems then you have a problem with your ram. Whats model is your motherboard?

    all the ram is new im dont now a test and ill see what goes with it..
    asus p4p800 se
    the problom begin when i added another 512 mb to the 512 i had!!
    i tried to pull it out and the problom is still there
    maybe the mother board is ****ed up??

    did you get the right ram?
    Your motherboard supports: 4 x 184-pin DIMM Sockets support max. 4GB DDR400/333/266 non-ECC DDR SDRAM memory.

    I'm not sure if you can mix and match different ddr's? Have you done any overclocking? Download speedfan from http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php and post back your temperatures.

    Does anyone else know any good ram testers?
