Does anyone here know how I can get my .jpg's to generate a preview in the win98 folder sidebar? quicktime messed up the program it opens jpg's with, and now all others jpegs except for *.JPG will work in windows and open in ie when i double click on them! .jpeg's and others work fine, but .jpg's won't generate a preview any more, or open in ie... what do i do to fix this? thanks...

To reassociate jpgs to their default IE association, do this:

Select (highlight) a jpg file. Then shift+right click on it. Select "open with" from the dialog window and scroll to IExplore an select to open jpgs. Check the "always use" box and click OK.

If you still don't get the preview for jpegs, download and double click to run the thumbs.reg file from the site below.
