    Restore point?

Is there a restore option for Win2k as there is for WinMe & XP.

    Or Win98 & SE - using the a:\> prompt:
    c:\windows\command\scanreg/restore

There is restore for Win ME and Win XP only.
There is a scanreg /restore you can access in Win 98 if you are having a problem but no "System Restore".

On boot, if you press the F8 key, it will bring you to the startup menu. There is an option called "last known good configuration", which is similar to scanreg /restore.
The other option is to boot from your Win2k disk and choose the repair option.

    Del,
With Win98 you do have an option of dates.

    Thanks all for the help.

I realize that, you asked it they had a system restore, NO.
I then mentioned they have scanreg /restrore in Win 98 and yes it will give you a list of registry restore points. It is different then System Restore though.
