I unwittingly put a live portable SSD on top of my mobile LG 3. When I came to use it 24hrs later it was unresponsive to any inputs whatsoever including the LG3 manual instructions on reviving a dead LG3. (If I followed the instructions correctly)

Have I killed the thing?

I would suspect the battery is dead then if you have no power. Does the phone have a light to show it's charging?

I'll change the battery, but it is probably not the cause as it was on charge at the time of the incident.
There is no light of any kind

thanks

No worries. I haven't heard of a SSD drive causing electronical failure in other devices but it could be possible.

I idly took out the battery, turned it over in my hand and replaced it. Still no life so I laid it to the side before binning it.
The next day I picked it up before I went outside and LO!.
It came alive in my hand, just as before.
Now I don't think this is a technical solution so I will change the battery, just in case it has an intermittent fault, but thank you very much indeed for your replies to my question.
regards
Derek
