We are using Windows on our office computers and the three of us use a shared network. I am having issues accessing the network and when I attempt to open a drive that contains our mutual files I get an error message:

An error occurred while reconnecting N: to \\Moore-NAS\Data
Microsoft Windows Network: The network path was not found.
This connection has not been restored.

For a while I was able to pull them up by right clicking on start and clicking Run then putting in the name of the Network but more recently even that is not working. What is a more permanent fix to this problem? I can't do my job without access to these files.

Can you ping the NAS from your PC? Rather than mapping a drive using the UNC, i.e. \\Moore-NAS\Data, perhaps try the IP address of the NAS instead, e.g. something along the lines of \\192.168.1.10\Data. Obviously, you'd replace the IP address with the one pertaining to the NAS.
