Hello. Something weird happened today when I restarted my Red Hat Linux 9. I was confronted by a message:

“Could not lookup internet address for RHmoonchild. This will prevent GNOME from operating correctly. It may be possible to correct the problem by adding RHmoonchild to the file /etc/hosts.”

Then it gives me an option of Login anyway or Try again

Do you think someone is trying to get me to give them access to my Linux? Thank you.

Hello. I just found out that my buddy was working on here and he just changed things around. I confirmed it with him and I am going to beat him up today. Sorry for the panic. Please disregard my original posting. LS
