If you can hard wire the computer do an ipconfig and see if it is in the 192.168.0.1 range or still in the 192.168.1 range

is this a laptop
All in one PC.

It now says the authentication is failing.

It won't let me post any more reply's as I hit the max in a 24 hour period.

(I ran it again and got the same authentication issue.

I verified the password 3 times.)

Thank you for all your help and getting me this far.

Since you were able to get the IPV4 figured out for me I was able to follow the YouTube video I found and was able to get it working perfectly. Thank you so much Peter. I have attached the video below.

I have to go out to a job - sorry
The error is normally a password error I do not know on the tool if you can go back a step and change the password under setup procedure or if you have to re run it.

Glad you got it going.
If you used the the path name e.g\\ grandma\scans all should be good.
if you used the ip address e.g\\192.168.0.178\scans then I recommend you fix the ip address in the scanner
and the pc so if the modem/router reboots it won't loose connection
because DHCP will most times re-issue the same ip but not always.
Please let me know if this is not clear.

Cheers
