I am running Windows XP Pro, Just recently, when I right click on something it is taking forrever to get the drop down menu to pop up. I run disk clean, defrag, check disk space, everything seems to be ok, and cleaned up, but I am still getting this disturbing right click lag.

    Any suggestions would be great.
    Thanks.
    Chad

Close all browser windows before you click "fix checked".

    Reboot your machine.

Another neat thing you can do to speed up Windows Explorer and My Computer is, right-click My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Settings (in performance area) > tag "Custom" > untag all the boxes in the scroll field except "Use drop shadows for icon on the desktop" > OK. You'll like the speed boost that gives! I recommend it for all users.

    Regards.
