Hm.. well... if the title doesn't tell enough, here's more info -
Alright, first off, the left mouse button is my only one, and it functions as though it were the right click, and yeah, I have checked the CP for mouse to see if it was set on reverse, unfortunately, that didn't solve the problem =/ Well, right now, all I can use is the left mouse, and it Open's things, not just a simple double click... and yeah, my right click is just completely out, I tried to put in my other mouse, but my com failed on me when I did... also my enter button for my keyboard [both Numpad and Reg] are both out... anyone ever hear of this problem?

Is the mouse USB or ps2, roller or optical?

Does the same behavior with the mouse occur in Safe Mode?

What exactly happened when you tried to put in the new mouse? If there is mouse software installed -- just uninstall it. Then shutdown and replace the mouse and reboot. No need to install nada.

Test the keyboard by booting to a command prompt -- either Start > Shutdown > Restart in MS-DOS mode, or restart and hold the ctrl key and choose "command prompt" from the startup menu.

If the keyboard does not work in DOS it is the keyboard, and not Windows fault. Get a new one, or try prising off the faulty key cap and doing a little cleaning if you can.

Hm, well, it works now... it was smacked by a 10 year old... yes, this IS true... but I am using a PS2 Ball Mouse, and when I put in the new mouse [USB Optical] my com just failed to work with me, that's all, but right now, it's... working... I have it might come back, if it does, I'll tell you how it turns out [by doing what you posted]
Thanks for replying.
