    I recently bought a new cell phone and signed up for pre-paid plan with Petro Canada Mobility. I am supposed to be able to access my account online but constantly have troubles. Login requests my cell number and a password, which I enter, but I get a message that the pw has to be less than 24 characters. I can count and it is definitely only 8 characters. This happens persistenlty. I tried to go through the process of changing ny password but get a message on that page that my cell phone number is not valid, yet I use it every day. Their tech. support has not idea... The only way through the problem that worked was to have them delete the whole account and re-register with a new password. HOWEVER, after one use with the new setup, I am back to the same problem. It does not seem to be with my computer because I tried to access through another laptop in another room in the house and got the same problem. Are you guys any smarter? Any new ideas?

    What's your Web browser? Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera?

    Have you tried logging in from more than one browser?

    Using Google and also tried Opera... same results

    The best thing to try would be another computer outside the house to see if you'll be getting the same results.

    Tried via another computer several miles away and she got the same results.... What now?

    Are you trying different passwords? You're sure it's not a dictionary word? Does it have at least one number in it? The password you're trying to create almost certainly violates some criteria, but the site may be poorly written so you're getting a default error message about the length. Customer service should be able to tell you what the password rules are.
