hi, yet again im not sure if this is possible but it would be really usefull if it is possible. the situation is that i have several computers in an office and id like to set up roaming profiles ie each user stores their setting and documents and these can be loaded on all the computers. is this possible without a copy of windows server?

The profile has to be stored somewhere on the network so it can be downloaded onto each computer when a person logs in. Depending on the number of computers in your network, I don't see any way of doing this without having a Windows Server OS installed on a system because you need several concurrent connections.

From what I've read, you need a domain and a domain controller and Active Directory to utilize roaming profiles.
