First i would like to thank you for looking at my problem! I am running a Pentium(R) 4. 2.4 GHz. gig ram XP pro fully updated. I have a slow explorer or something . It is slow opening most files and control panel and all the icons in control panel. i have searched this forum and found some problems very much the same as mine in other posts. One titled Slow computer with strange IE7

this is just a little of a 6 page thread or post..in this thread there is advice by Cookiegal to
Go to start - Control Panel - Display Properties - Desktop - Customize Desktop and click on the Web tab.

Select everything listed there (except for "My current home page") and click on Delete.

Click OK and on the next screen click Apply.
i followed this until I got to select everything and had to stop because i had nothing and no homepage ether.
I have a hjt log and a rkr log that i will post and lots of other logs for the asking.

um yes and no .. I killed my windows trying to fix it now i have to wait for my father to get home to get my xp disk to run recovery console but as soon as its up again i will post a new log. ps I know for sure that something was going on with it because in my registry under HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG\System\CurrentControlSet\Enum was changed to some words in Lithuainian or german or some dammed thing and in googleing it is where I what language it was in then I found some cmd code that claimed that it would fix it.it fixed it all right. well lets just say its a lot harder for me to trust people on the net now. i should have it up and running tonight I hope.
