Here's the setup.

2 Computers with WIndows XP
1 Computer with Windows 98
Linksys Router 4 Port

When I have all 3 computers connected to the router, one doesn't work. Usually one of the XP machines. The IP address I get for the working computers are as follows.

192.168.1.100
192.168.1.101

Now, I have tried to force feed the non-working computer with a IP Address of 192.168.1.102 Still doesn't work. Someone, please help!!!!!!!!

Don't know if it is the same XP machine that is not connecting but one thing that you might want to check especially if it is the same one is that there is not a firewall present. This can be disable in the network protocols.
Good luck,

All Firewalls have been disabled. Can having 2 XP machines on the same router cause a problem?

Shouldn't be a problem. We've got 2 XP Pro machines and a 98 machine hooked together at my office.
Just a thought here...On the machine that isn't co-operating...have you tried moving it's network cable to a different port on the router?
