hello!
So I’ve been trying to search for an answer to this all day

I have a Virgin WIFI router, And two friends arguing.
Friend 1 reset the password on the WIFI in order to lock people out
Friend 1 went away on holiday and unplugged the WiFi. When they returned they plugged it back in and said someone reset the WiFi password (friend 2).
Friend 2 swears to the ground they did not reset the password at all and they really have no reason to lie,
It is possible the router reset itself to the default password when turned off?

I know this is a strange question
I’m not even sure I’m posting in the right section

Any help is much appreciated

Thanks

We don't really have a therapy or bad relationship section so I guess this section will do for now.

Sure, it's possible but rare, or it's possible that one of them reset the password and forgot or they like to create arguments for stupid reasons. Most likely is that friend 2 is lying if he was the one that was Friend 1 was trying to lock out by changing the password.
