Does anyone know what might be keeping me from being able to log on to the internet with my comp and my xbox live at the same time?

I have a Linksys router and all was working fine until i had to unplug the cable to my xbox from the router - now since i have plugged the cable back up my 2 comps and xbox are not able to connect at the same time.

Please HELP!!!! I want my online RS back and son needs his Xbox live back.

    Thx,
    Rhapsody

    Turn off your pc
    turn off your xbox

    boot your xbox
    boot your pc

That should put your xbox on the network first and allow your compter to get its ip second.

This is rather inconvenient, but at least it gets it to work for me.

When i tried hooking up my computer and an xbox at the same time on a Linksys Router. I called Xbox live and they told me that must have a computer pluged into port 1 Unless you have firmware Vershion 3.5 or higher. So i pluged my comp[uter in port 1 and my xbox in port 2 and hey it actually worked.

So you might want to hook up your computers on the first few ports and your Xbox last. Just an idea, so hope it works.
