Roxio doesnt recognize any recorders to burn CDs, it did a few days ago tho HELP PLZ!

    :( :confused: Hello. I have Roxio Easy CD and DVD Creator 6 (aka Easy CD & DVD Burning) and when I try to use Creator Classic, Disc Copier, etc. It wont let me burn. It says there are no recorders on my computer. On creator classic, it says "Default recorder: None" and I should be able to click it and change it to my E drive, but there nothing there. I desperatly need this fixed... please help ASAP!

    a quick way to possible fix this is to do a reinstall of roxio and maybe the drivers for your recorder. are your devices listed in your "my computer" window

    Hi,

    If you visit the Creator 6 support forum and search through the postings you'll find some info on this problem that might be helpful. Just taking a brief look at the articles, many suggest that you use a cleanup utility called Roxio Zap and then reinstall your software. Anyway, here's a link to the forum:
