Hello, Is anyone having problems with Roxio E-Creator 5 Platinum
and windows XP? I have had alot of bugs with it. It will burn cd's
fine sometimes then other times it hangs. It will go through the
burning process to 100% and says it finalizing and just sit there.
I have updated it with the XP update and the 5.02c update for
drive support. I try several different burners and it acts up diffrently with each. My system runs slick with no problems. Thats
the only thing I have had problems with so far. Just wondered
if anyone else is have any problem.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestions. I have install and reinstalled several
times. I have tried roxio's suggestions for the updates. It said to
install the XP update then install the new 5.02C update then
install XP update again. Still Problems! I'm currently running the
Nero burn 5 and having no problems. I really like Platinum and
would like to get it to work. I have a friend thats having the same
problems. He's also tried everything to get Platinum to work. He's
is currently running the new Prassi software that came with his
new 24X burner. I was running Plat. with Windows ME and it run
fine without a snag. Its got something to do with XP. We think it
may have something to do with the intergrated burning features with XP. Roxio wrote the driver for MS. Thats just my thought.
    Thanks for any help!

Guess I will Stick with Nero for now.

Gave up on Roxio for XP. I can do the same things with Media Player - also XP has the drag and drop for cd burners.
