I've had my Vista Amd64x2 2GDDR for a year now. Yesterday after reading a tech thread I decided to plug in a 1G SD memory card and try Ready Boost. I do the same thing every night after work, I watch a movie on my laptop and size it in the corner of WOW, I have Digsby open and firefox. With 2gigs DDR i get a little but a very small amount of hang with all this running. So after I applied the readyboost, I admit everything seemed to be more responsive. Was just wondering if other people are using this feature and wanted to learn a bit more about it. Discuss...

The value of the effect is also highly based on the speed of the USB or SD etc.

I've used it on some system with 1gig or less of ram. On systems with 2 gigs of ram or more I haven't noticed a differnce.
