run windows 3.1 software on windows 7 machine

    i have an old piece of software that was made for windows 3.1 & windows 95. i wont install on a windows 7 64 bit machine for obvious reasons. how can i make it run? is there a windows 95 emulator or something like that? thanks

    Don't know about any emulators, but there are some really nice free virtual machines--such as VirtualBox and VMWare Player. Of course, with one of those you also need the old OS to install.
