Hi!

my laptop always encounter the problem of "run32.dll has error and stops responding" After i click the Ok button or whatever (not very sure) [because the time i write this thread I am online in computer centre] the Windows Media Player Sharing Service stopped.

What do i need to do to overcome this problem?
Thanks in advance!

Are you running Vista or XP ?
Do you need to share your media over the network?

You can turn that service off though I'm not sure if it will solve the problem though

If you want to try turning it off - Try this:

Open WMP, click Tools, Options
Select the "Library" tab, and click "Configure Sharing..."
Uncheck "Share my media" and "Find media that others are sharing" checkboxes
Click OK.

Then,

Click Start.
Right-click Computer, and then click Manage.
Expand Services and Applications, and then click Services.
Double-click Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service and set it to Disabled

The only other thing I can think of is to re-install Windows media player *shrugs* I know its not a fix as such but if we don't hear from anyone with a fix it might be the only option.

Hope it helps - Tuvach.
