Having trouble with system, was taking forever to get on internet, we have XP Home high speed cable wireless network system, had to use control alt del and started closing things in the Task Manage, I m afraid i might of erased something, problems were because of AIM, too many spyware, ran Ad aware and Spybot but took forever because forgot to delete cookies/files on internet tools first on daughters user side. there was over 350 items found on ad aware! Problem now is getting a RUNDLL message: C:\ProgramFiles\Wild Tangent\APPS\CDA\cdaEngine0400.dll (Module not found). OOps what did I do and how can I fix it?

You need to run HiJack this and post a log.

Is that just a popup error message box that shows up when you boot? (grey box, with red x)

If so, there is still a reference to launch the wildtangent (spyware) program on boot up. What you did: deltete the wild tangent files (likely with adaware).... To fix it, run msconfig, goto startup tab... BE CAREFUL in msconfig, you can damage your system here. Find the line where the right hand column references "C:\ProgramFiles\Wild Tangent\APPS\CDA\cdaEngine0400.dll". Remove the check in the box at the start of the line. Close msconfig. Reboot your computer.

If you don't see that specific line in msconfig, DO NOT change anything in msconfig, just exit. Then post a hijackthis log here, and one of the experts will be able to help.

Wild Tangent is games. If you dont play them simply go to control panel add/remove programs and uninstall Wild tangent

Yeah... But based on the error, it looks like wildtangent may have already been removed, but there is still references to it in boot. Uninstall *may* work, but will likely just report that the program is already gone.
